Faith in Action of McHenry County provides volunteer services to seniors who live at home in a house or apartment or with a family member.  Their purpose is to help them remain independent and a viable part of the community for as long as possible.  Their biggest request is for transportation, followed by friendly visits and respite care, but other services are also available.  Opportunities exist to put your faith in action by assisting seniors in this congregation or others in your neighborhood.  Faith in Action may be reached at 815 455 3120 or you may obtain additional information at their web site:
