Volunteerism is the backbone of McHenry County.
It is woven like a fine thread throughout our community. Individuals and groups
of all ages are making a difference by feeding the hungry, sheltering the
homeless, cleaning up our environment, caring for seniors and children.
Volunteers are in our schools, faith-based and civic organizations, libraries,
healthcare facilities and other places changing lives.
