Why register as a McHenry County Volunteer?

• We want to make sure you have the best experience possible when volunteering. 

  • Once you register a staff person from the Volunteer Center will take as much time with you as needed to help you decide where to volunteer. We will meet with you in person, talk with you on the phone or email, to find that right place.

  • After you register you can search the volunteer needs listed.

• If you like, we will contact the agency for you when you decide on a place to volunteer or you can just click the agency's name next to the volunteer needed list on our searchable database of needs and connect directly to an agency. 

• We can help you and or your group organize a special day of service.
