Our Mission: United Way of Greater McHenry County Volunteer Center engages individuals and groups of all ages in volunteerism to help solve critical social problems.
The Volunteer Center is the leading community service resource in McHenry County. We foster relationships with non-profits and volunteers to strengthen and support service in the county.
The Volunteer Center has four core functions:
Connect any person or group to non-profits
Build capacity of effective volunteering
Promote volunteerism
Participate in strategic plans to mobilize volunteers to strengthen communities

McHenry County Community Calendar
Training for volunteer managers, board members and volunteers
The Center is funded and developed by United Way of McHenry County, and managed by YMCA of McHenry County.
