19280   LifeSource, Chicagoland's Blood Center Life...Its In You!  Location: Spring Grove   60081 Description: We need your help to assist donors who are eager to help patients in need of a Bone Marrow Transplant. Each month we conduct donor drives.... some coordinated on behalf of individual patients. You can help harness and direct the outpouring of concern and goodwill that these situations inspire by assisting at National Bone Marrow events right in your own community and throughout Chicagoland. Volunteer must be 16 years & older.The ideal volunteer should possess excellent communication skills, professionalism, positive attitude, detail orientation, energy, and enthusiasm. Volunteer must provide their own transportation. Local community groups, schools and businesses host blood donations throughout the week. These generous donors positively impact cancer patients, trauma patients and many, many more. We need you to let them know how special they truly are. Responsibilities include welcoming donors, donor care and refreshments.The ideal volunteer should be friendly, customer service focused, professional, energetic, and flexible. Minimum age requirement is 16.
