19938   Senior Services Association, Inc. - Companion Program Senior Companion Friendly Visiting  Location: Richmond   60071 Description: Senior friendly, compassionate volunteer needed for 64 yr old senior gentleman living alone. Used to be motorcycle rider, would enjoy going out to lunch or for a cup of coffee on occasion. ALso, he likes going for a driver although he still does drive. Would love for visitor to help him learn computer skills on his personal computer. Male visitor would be best. He does smoke so volunteer would need to be non-sensitive as home can have smoke odor.    When does the volunteer need take place?  As soon as a suitable volunteer can be found.    Ongoing?        One-time-only?   Who would be great for this opportunity? 19254   Community Church of Richmond: LOGOS program Teacher's Aid  Location: Richmond   60071 Description: We are in need of energetic individuals who enjoy working with children, grades 1-8. Volunteers will assist teachers as they prepare and deliver the lessons and activities planned for their rotation(s). Guide children as they experience five rotations of LOGOS: Bible Time, Recreation, Worship Arts, Music Time, and Family Meal Time. Dinner will be provided    When does the volunteer need take place?  Wednesdays during the school year. Hours are flexible depending on which rotation(s) you wish to assist. Program runs from 4:15-7:00pm. Each rotation lasts approx 30 minutes.    Ongoing?        One-time-only?   Who would be great for this opportunity?
