Garden Quarter Neighborhood Resource Center
Cub Scout Volunteer
Location:
McHenry
60050
Description:
We are looking for adult volunteers who would like to be Cub Scout leaders with Pack #134. Pack #134 was started in January of 2006 and has 10 scouts grades 1-5. These scouts all come from low-income families, and many come from single parent households that makes it difficult for the parents to dedicate a lot of time to planning and facilitating pack activities. We need adults (male or female) who would like to serve as adult Cub Scout leaders.
When
does the volunteer need take place?
This would be a large and relatively long-term commitment, that would require the volunteer to spend time planning activities, tracking advancements, etc. as well as facilitating pack activities. Much of the work could be done on their own time.
