Effective Strategies for Dealing with Disruptive Behavior

9am to 4:30pm MCC Conference Center Workshop for professionals and parents that explores effective ways in addressing severe and disruptive behaviors among youth. Presented by Eric Guy, MSW, LSW.specialist in treating behavioral and emotional disturbances in children.

40 Hour Domestic Violence Training

For those interested in becoming crisis line volunteers. Training will be held at MCC Thursdays and Saturdays beginning 9/9/10 and ending 10/2/10. Registration required and an $85 fee for volunteers, $340 for community members not planning to volunteer. Must attend all 40 hours to receive certificate.

2nd Annual "RUN 4 RECOVERY" 5k-run/walk/crawl

come out and bring a friend! Take a jog or walk though the beautiful trail at Emrickson Park in Woodstock....Watch our website for pre-registration information....come out and help us give a "Voice to Recovery"....recovery is possible! But we cant do it alone...we need your help to continue to offer the women a safe, structured home to grow and heal.
We are the only program in McHenry County for women in recovery.

McHenry Memory Walk

On Sunday, September 12, come walk with us, along with your family, friends, and colleagues in the McHenry County Memory Walk to help raise dolalrs and awareness for Alzheimer's disease. McHenry County Memory Walk is a 1.5 mile course around beautiful Sunset Park.
